
Jammu, 17 June (H.S.): Bharatiya Janata Party organized a Pragati Path Yatra and Sankalp Sammelan in Jammu, highlighting the transformative journey of New India on the completion of 12 successful years of trust, development, and public welfare under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Union Minister of State for Road Transport & Highways Ajay Tamta, J&K BJP President and Rajya Sabha MP Sat Sharma, and MP Jugal Kishore Sharma Jammu led the Pragati Path Yatra at IIM. The yatra witnessed the participation of J&K BJP Vice Presidents Priya Sethi and Rakesh Mahajan, MLAs Yudhvir Sethi and Devyani Rana, and District President Rajesh Gupta.
The leaders visited the IIM Jammu campus, interacted with its Director, went around the library, reviewed the state-of-the-art infrastructure, and appreciated the institution's contribution towards nurturing future leadership and excellence in higher education.
Later, Ajay Tamta, Sat Sharma, and Jugal Kishore Sharma addressed the Sankalp Sammelan at Jammu Club. J&K BJP General Secretary (Organization) Ashok Koul, Vice Presidents Priya Sethi and Rakesh Mahajan, General Secretaries Baldev Singh Billawaria and Gopal Mahajan, MLAs Yudhvir Sethi, Arvind Gupta and Devyani Rana, along with other senior party leaders and workers, were also present.
Ajay Tamta, while speaking on the occasion, stressed that the last twelve years have been defined by decisive leadership, rapid infrastructure expansion, and people-centric governance. He said that the Modi Government has ensured that development reaches the last person in the queue, strengthening public trust through transparency and effective implementation.
