Jammu, 17 June (H.S.): BJP spokesperson and Convenor, International Affairs, Gaurav Gupta here today highlighted the transformative achievements of PM Modi led Government over the last 12 years.

Addressing a press conference at Basohli, Gupta said that development of Basohli and the wider Jammu region reflects PM Modi’s vision of a strong, connected and self-reliant India.

He highlighted GI Tag for Basohli Paintings and the recognition of Pashmina products, which have preserved cultural heritage while creating livelihood for the artisans.

Gupta said that major infrastructure projects such as the Basohli-Bani-Bhaderwah road corridor, Sewal Bridge and Atal Setu have significantly improved connectivity, trade and tourism across the region.

The press conference was organised by Gopal Krishan, District president, BJP Kathua.

Among those present on the occasion were Rajinder Jaswal, District general secretary, Rajeshwar Singh, District vice president, Col. Mahan Singh (Retd.), former DDC Chairman Kathua, Vikram Singh, DDC Member Billawar, Suresh Spolia, former MC President Basohli, Sushma Jamwal, former DDC Chairperson and Omkant Basotra, former MC President Billawar.

Meanwhile, in another similar programme wherein a press conference was held in Kathua which was addressed by BJP J&K spokesperson, Rajni Sethi, major achievements and transformative initiatives undertaken by PM Modi Government over the past 12 years were highlighted.

Rajni Sethi told reporters that under the leadership of PM Modi, India has witnessed unprecedented progress in various sectors and has emerged stronger on the global stage.

Senior BJP leaders and party workers were also present during the programme.
