
DUBAI, June 13 (HS/RIA Novosti) - The United Arab Emirates has denied media reports that it transferred part of Iranian assets worth $3 billion, the UAE Foreign Ministry stated on Saturday.
The United Arab Emirates has categorically denied reports published by certain international media outlets alleging the transfer of funds from the UAE to the Islamic Republic of Iran, including allegations concerning USD 3 billion, the ministry's statement read.
The ministry said that the claims are completely false and baseless, adding that no frozen Iranian funds have been unlocked, transferred, or secured through the UAE.
The ministry also said that the media should rely on official sources and refrain from publishing or spreading unverified information and baseless allegations.
