BEIJING, June 13 (HS/RIA Novosti) - US authorities are disregarding agreements reached by the two heads of state during their meeting in Beijing and continue to unjustifiably suppress Chinese companies, China's Ministry of Commerce said on Saturday.
On Monday, the Pentagon announced the inclusion of more than 180 companies in the list of organizations that, according to the US, are associated with the Chinese military-industrial complex.
The United States, disregarding the agreements reached by the two heads of state at the meeting in Beijing, as well as the overall picture of China-US trade and economic relations, continues to ... unreasonably exert pressure on Chinese companies, the ministry said in a statement.
Beijing expresses strong dissatisfaction and strong protest in this regard, and also calls on Washington to stop the erroneous practice, the statement added.
Otherwise, China will inevitably take decisive and effective countermeasures, and the full responsibility for the consequences will lie with the US side, the statement read.
On May 13-15, US President Donald Trump paid a state visit to China, where he held talks with Chinese President Xi Jinping.
