
Indore, 11 June (H.S.): Ujjain Falcons and Rewa Jaguars delivered impressive performances on Tuesday to secure victories in their respective matches in the Madhya Pradesh League (MPL) T20 Scindia Cup 2026.
In the first match, Ujjain Falcons returned to winning ways with a 16-run victory over Bhopal Lions. After losing the toss and being asked to bat first, the Falcons posted a formidable total of 195/8 in their allotted 20 overs.
For Ujjain, Yash Dubey played a valuable innings of 54 runs, while Madhav Tiwari produced a scintillating unbeaten knock of 61 off just 28 balls. His innings featured four sixes and came at a crucial stage after the team had suffered a middle-order collapse. Tiwari’s aggressive stroke play guided the Falcons to a challenging total.
Chasing 196, Bhopal Lions got off to a promising start, but regular wickets at key intervals increased the pressure on the batting side. They eventually finished on 179/7 in 20 overs, falling 16 runs short of the target. Madhav Tiwari also made a significant contribution with the ball, claiming two wickets to complete an outstanding all-round performance.
In the second match, Rewa Jaguars secured a convincing 31-run victory over Indore Pink Panthers. Batting first, Rewa amassed a massive total of 209/5 in their 20 overs.
Anant Verma starred with an unbeaten 71, while Sagar Solanki smashed a rapid 60 off just 28 deliveries, helping the Jaguars establish a commanding position.
In reply, Indore Pink Panthers were bowled out for 178. Captain Venkatesh Iyer managed only 19 runs, while Shivam Shukla fought hard with an innings of 36.
For Rewa Jaguars, Ankit Kushwaha led the bowling attack with three wickets. Ramveer Gurjar, Rohit Rajawat and captain Prithviraj Singh Tomar chipped in with two wickets each to seal a comprehensive victory.
The balanced performances of both batters and bowlers in the two encounters provided plenty of entertainment for spectators and added further excitement to the competition in the MPL T20 Scindia Cup 2026.
