Delhi Lieutenant Governor Taranjit Singh Sandhu handed over appointment letters to 1,647 newly appointed employees of the Delhi Development Authority (DDA) during a ceremony at Yamuna Sports Complex on Thursday. This initiative saw 1,647 employees assume charge across 26 positions, increasing the authority's workforce by approximately 55%.

While distributing appointment letters, Lieutenant Governor Taranjit Singh Sandhu stated these new employees are custodians of a long-term vision for the national capital's development and future. This initiative aligns with Prime Minister's vision for a developed India focused on job creation and strengthening governance systems. He emphasized these young employees will play a crucial role during the 'Amrit Kaal' in advancing the goal of developed India by 2047.

The Lieutenant Governor urged DDA's new members to serve with empathy, integrity, and dedication. He stated their commitment to public service will further strengthen institutional credibility and contribute to building a modern, developed India.
