
New Delhi, 07 May (H.S.): Union Communications Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia and Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta inaugurated the renovated post office at Nehru Place on Thursday.
Addressing journalists, Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia stated that under Prime Minister Narendra Modi's vision of development and heritage, the postal department will now serve people with modern technology. He emphasized that the decades-old trust in the postal department will now integrate seamlessly with every mechanism of modern India.
Posting on her social media account X, the Chief Minister remarked that the postal department has evolved in line with contemporary needs through technology. This new post office will provide citizens with faster, simpler, and more modern service experiences. Today, post offices extend beyond mere mail services to become robust public service centers offering parcel delivery, banking, insurance, Aadhaar, and passport services.
State Minister for Communications and Rural Development Dr. Chandrashekar Pemmasani and MLA Shikha Rai were also present on the occasion.
