New Delhi, 06 May (H.S.): Expressing concern over recent developments in Punjab, BJP Rajya Sabha MP Swati Maliwal has raised serious questions regarding the state's law and order situation. She has also targeted Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann.

Swati Maliwal stated on Wednesday via social media platform X that two explosions occurred at sensitive locations in Punjab on the same day. Last week, a blast was reported on a railway track as well. She alleged that daylight shootings are taking place in the state, making the law and order situation appear completely collapsed.

Targeting Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, the MP said that despite such grave circumstances, the Chief Minister brought a large number of MLAs to Delhi packed in buses and vehicles. She remarked that while the Chief Minister met the President alone, the other MLAs were made to stand outside in the sun holding placards with their names.

She alleged that in the Punjab Assembly, where law and order should be discussed, Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann allegedly arrives drunk and speaks incoherently.

BJP MP Swati Maliwal concluded by questioning why the state's situation has been allowed to deteriorate to this extent and what steps the government is taking to address it.
