
Solapur, 07 May (HS): Union Minister and RPI
President Ramdas Athawale said that NDA will win 2029 general elections with
2/3rd majority. With the majority the women’s reservation bill will
be passed even the opposition members oppose it.
Besides reservation for women, the number of Lok
Sabha constituencies were proposed to be increased from 543 to 816. The
proposal was opposed by Rahul Gandhi, Mamta Banerjee, Akhilesh Yadav and
others. However, in the future NDA will clear it based on its strength, he
said.
Athawale was felicitated at Kurduwadi for getting
elected on the Rajya Sabha for the third term. RPI Vice-president Bapusaheb
Jagtap had organised the felicitation programme. Regional Unit General
Secretary Rajabhau Sarawade, ex-MLA Sanjay Shinde and others were present.
