Bhubaneswar, 06 May (H.S.): Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi has expressed profound gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his unwavering commitment, generous support, and visionary leadership in advancing the development and aspirations of Odisha.

The Chief Minister also extended sincere thanks to Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw for declaring Rayagada as a new Railway Division, describing the move as a landmark decision that fulfills a long-cherished aspiration of the people of Southern Odisha.

According to official information, the Rayagada Railway Division will become operational from June 1, marking the beginning of a transformative phase for the region. The initiative is expected to significantly enhance regional connectivity, unlock vast tourism potential, boost revenue generation, and accelerate inclusive and sustainable growth.

Highlighting the significance of the decision, CM Majhi termed it a strong example of “double-engine governance” and a defining milestone in Odisha’s progress. He stated that the development would bring the state closer to its goal of emerging as a key driver of India’s growth and contributing meaningfully to the vision of a Viksit Bharat.
