
Mau,
29 May (HS): A historic moment prevailed in Tajpur village of Mau on Friday
when Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath inaugurated the 150-bed Rural Military
Hospital, established by retired Brigadier P.N. Singh. The Chief Minister said
that by establishing numerous educational and health institutions in his
village, Brigadier P.N. Singh has proven that rural India can also become a
center of self-reliance and development. He called it a unique example of rural
self-reliance.
The
Chief Minister said that no matter how high a person reaches, he can never
repay the debt he owes to his mother and motherland. Brigadier PN Singh has set
a remarkable example of his duty to his motherland by establishing a Sainik
ITI, Sainik College, Pharmacy College, Nursing College, and now a modern
hospital in his village. Yogi said that this is not just a business, but an
inspiring act of national and social service.
Referring
to Prime Minister Narendra Modi's Panchpran (five vows), CM Yogi
said that this institute is implementing these principles: respect for
heritage, renunciation of the mentality of slavery, the spirit of one India,
best India, respect for soldiers, and adherence to civic duties. He said that
the dream of a developed India will only be realized when villages become
strong and self-reliant. Efforts like Tajpur are becoming an inspiration for
the entire state and country.
In
his address, the Chief Minister also listed the achievements of the state
government. He said that until 2017, there were only 41 medical colleges in
Uttar Pradesh, while now this number will increase to 83 by 2026. The
government is working rapidly in the fields of health and education, and is
also moving forward strongly on its policy of zero tolerance against crime and
corruption. Several dignitaries, including Cabinet Ministers AK Sharma, Dara
Chauhan, and Dayashankar Singh, were present on the occasion.
