
Jammu, 29 May (H.S.): Member Legislative Assembly, Dr Bharat Bhushan today held public darbars in various villages including, Bijjit, Khanyara, Paralla, Mehtabpur and Rakhey.
During the darbar, the MLA interacted with local residents and listened to their grievances and demands related to basic amenities and developmental works in the area.
While interacting with the MLA, villagers highlighted several issues concerning infrastructure, water supply, roads and other public facilities.
Addressing the gatherings, Dr Bharat Bhushan reiterated his commitment towards the welfare and development of every section of society.
He stated that tackling water scarcity during the summer season remains his top priority and necessary measures are being taken to ensure adequate drinking water supply in both urban & rural areas.
The villagers appreciated the MLA who has been continuously visiting remote areas, listening to public concerns and actively pursuing developmental works for the welfare of the people.
The MLA also inaugurated Solar Lights installed in the shrine of Maa Ama Bhai, Bijjit and a Deep Borewell in Lower Paralla. Both these works were executed out of Constituency Development fund.
Officials from Jal Shakti, PMGSY, PWD, JKPDC and RDD Departments were also present on the occasion.
Among others who were present during the darbar included Suman Bala, Dilawar Singh, Uttam Singh, Pawan Sharma, Raj Singh, Tharu Ram (Makhnu), Kuldeep Sharma, Dharam Singh, Naseeb Chand Amit Sudan, Principal, New Era Public School Romi Sharma and former Sarpanch Indu Bala.
