
New Delhi, May 29 (H.S.): Delhi Mayor Pravesh Wahi on Friday inaugurated a newly installed modern lift at the City SP Zone office. Local municipal councillor Suman Kumar Gupta was also present at the event.
Addressing the inauguration ceremony, the Mayor said that the Municipal Corporation of Delhi is continuously strengthening basic infrastructure to provide better and more convenient services to citizens. He stated that the new lift will significantly benefit not only the general public but also senior citizens, persons with disabilities, and employees. He added that the initiative marks an important step towards making municipal offices more accessible, modern, and citizen-friendly.
Pravesh Wahi further said that the civic body is undertaking various developmental works aimed at upgrading office infrastructure and improving the overall environment for public services. He described the commissioning of the lift as a significant achievement in this direction.
Local councillor Suman Kumar Gupta expressed gratitude to the Mayor and the municipal administration for the facility, stating that it would greatly ease access for citizens visiting the office and improve the quality of public service delivery.
Officials and employees present at the event also welcomed the new facility, calling it a step that would enhance both administrative efficiency and citizen convenience.
Among those present on the occasion were Deputy Commissioner of the City SP Zone Kanika, along with senior municipal officials and staff members.
