New Delhi, May 23 (H.S.): A grand cultural congregation of tribal communities will be held at Delhi’s historic Red Fort on Sunday, bringing together representatives of indigenous groups, social organisations, and traditional cultural ensembles from across the country.

Large numbers of members of tribal communities from various states are expected to participate in the event, which is aimed at showcasing the rich cultural heritage and collective identity of India’s tribal society. Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai is also expected to attend the programme on Sunday evening.

According to the Janjati Suraksha Manch, the organisation hosting the event, the cultural gathering is being organised to draw public attention to key issues related to the cultural identity, unity, and awareness of tribal communities.

The programme will also feature discussions on the preservation of tribal heritage, social participation, and contemporary challenges being faced by indigenous communities across the country.

Organisers said the event is intended to serve as a platform for strengthening cultural consciousness and promoting greater recognition of tribal traditions and contributions within the national mainstream.
