
New Delhi, 14 May (H.S.): The National Investigation Agency (NIA) filed a chargesheet in the Patiala House Court in Delhi on Thursday in the Red Fort blast case. The NIA has named 10 individuals as accused in this case.
According to the NIA, 11 people were killed in the blast. The approximately 7,500-page chargesheet also names bomb blast perpetrator Umar Un Nabi (deceased) as an accused. While filing the chargesheet, the NIA stated that it may file a supplementary chargesheet later. On the same day, the NIA produced the accused linked to this case in court. The judicial custody of the accused was ending today, after which they were presented in court.
According to the NIA, the car explosion near Red Fort on November 10 was planned by Umar Un Nabi. Umar Un Nabi died at the scene itself. The NIA arrested accused Danish from Srinagar. According to the NIA, Danish made technical modifications to the drone and attempted to prepare a rocket before the car explosion. The NIA stated that Danish played a key role in executing the entire conspiracy in collaboration with Umar Un Nabi.
According to the NIA, Umar brainwashed Danish, a political science graduate, to make him a suicide bomber. He was ready to meet the doctor module in a mosque in Kulgam in October 2024, from where he was taken to Al Falah University in Faridabad, Haryana, to stay. The car blast occurred near Red Fort on November 10, 2025. The car was registered in the name of Amir Rashid Ali.
