New Delhi, 14 May (H.S.): The Patiala House Court in Delhi has granted bail to influencer Dr. Neelam Singh, who posted against Priya Kapur, wife of the late industrialist Sunjay Kapur. Judicial Magistrate Snehil Sharma issued the order to grant bail on the night of May 13.

Dr. Neelam Singh operates the account The Skin Doctor. Neelam Singh was produced before the judge around 10 p.m. on May 13. Delhi Police had sought two days' custody after presenting Neelam Singh. During the hearing, it was stated on behalf of Neelam Singh that she is ready to cooperate in the investigation. She is also prepared to hand over her mobile phone to the police within a week.

The court stated that keeping Dr. Neelam Singh in custody will not serve any purpose. In this case, Priya Kapur had filed a complaint at the Vasant Kunj police station in Delhi.

Dr. Neelam Singh is a dermatologist and political commentator. She runs accounts under the name The Skin Doctor on social media platforms X, Instagram, and YouTube, which have a significant number of followers. In her post, Dr. Neelam Singh had raised questions about the circumstances of Sunjay Kapur's death and commented on the property dispute involving Sunjay Kapur. Priya Kapur stated in her complaint that the claims made by Dr. Neelam Singh in the post were false and misleading.

Sunjay Kapur was the chairman of Sona Comstar. Kapur passed away in June 2025 while playing polo in London. After Sunjay Kapur's death, Karishma Kapoor's children filed a petition in the Delhi High Court questioning the will. The High Court had, on April 30, restrained the sale of Sanjay Kapoor's property worth 30 thousand crore rupees to any third party. Now, Priya Kapur will not be able to sell Sanjay Kapur's properties. The High Court had frozen Sunjay Kapur's accounts.
