The domestic bullion market showed a mild weak trend in early trade today. Gold became cheaper by Rs 290 to Rs 320 per 10 grams, while silver registered a notional decline of up to Rs 100 per kilogram. On the back of the fall in prices, 24-carat gold is trading across most bullion markets in the country at Rs 1,52,350 to Rs 1,54,370 per 10 grams. Similarly, 22-carat gold is being sold today in the range of Rs 1,39,650 to Rs 1,41,500 per 10 grams. Silver too has weakened, and in the Delhi bullion market the white metal is trading at Rs 2,75,000 per kilogram in early trade.

On a weekly basis, gold prices had moved higher in last week’s trading. During the week, 24-carat gold rose by up to Rs 1,640 per 10 grams, while 22-carat gold became costlier by up to Rs 1,500 per 10 grams.

Silver prices also advanced last week, becoming costlier by up to Rs 10,000 per kilogram compared with the previous week.

In Delhi, 24-carat gold is trading today at Rs 1,52,500 per 10 grams, while 22-carat gold is priced at Rs 1,39,800 per 10 grams. In Mumbai, the country’s financial capital, 24-carat gold is selling at Rs 1,52,350 per 10 grams and 22-carat gold at Rs 1,39,650 per 10 grams. In Ahmedabad, the retail price of 24-carat gold stands at Rs 1,52,400 per 10 grams and that of 22-carat gold at Rs 1,39,700 per 10 grams.

Among other major cities, 24-carat gold in Chennai is trading at Rs 1,54,370 per 10 grams, while 22-carat gold is priced at Rs 1,41,500 per 10 grams. In Kolkata, 24-carat gold is trading at Rs 1,52,350 per 10 grams and 22-carat gold at Rs 1,39,650 per 10 grams. In Bhopal, the price of 24-carat gold is Rs 1,52,400 per 10 grams, while 22-carat gold is selling at Rs 1,39,700 per 10 grams.

In Lucknow’s bullion market, 24-carat gold is selling at Rs 1,52,500 per 10 grams and 22-carat gold at Rs 1,39,800 per 10 grams. In Patna, 24-carat gold is priced at Rs 1,52,400 per 10 grams, while 22-carat gold is trading at Rs 1,39,700 per 10 grams. In Jaipur, 24-carat gold is selling at Rs 1,52,500 per 10 grams and 22-carat gold at Rs 1,39,800 per 10 grams.

Like in other states across the country, gold prices are also showing a declining trend today in the bullion markets of Karnataka, Telangana and Odisha. In the capitals of these three states — Bengaluru, Hyderabad and Bhubaneswar — 24-carat gold is trading at Rs 1,52,350 per 10 grams. Similarly, 22-carat gold is selling at Rs 1,39,650 per 10 grams in the bullion markets of these cities.
