Dhubri (Assam), 09 April (HS): A man died while waiting to cast his vote at a polling station in the Gauripur assembly constituency of Dhubri district on Thursday.

According to reports, the incident took place at a polling booth in Tamarhat under the Gauripur constituency. The deceased has been identified as Babar Ali (54), who was standing in a queue outside Booth No. 2108 at Char Maragadhar LP School when he suddenly collapsed.

He was immediately rushed to a nearby hospital, where doctors declared him dead. It is suspected that he may have suffered a heart attack. However, the exact cause of death has not been officially confirmed.-----------
