Pune, 08 Apr (HS): Pune Municipal Corporation has

claimed that it has started using ‘Ground Penetrating Radar’ to detect problems

in underground pipelines for water supply, drainage, MNGL gas pipe lines, electric

cables etc. Using this modern technology will help in exact site of the fault

and prevent unnecessary digging of roads.

The survey through the Ground Penetrating Radar is

mandatory for all the contractors appointed for these works.
