Jammu, 05 April (H.S.): Senior Superintendent of Police Jammu, Joginder Singh, today conducted a casual inspection-cum-meeting with officers of Sub-Divisions Akhnoor, Domana, West, East, North and South to review the security scenario and crime disposal.

The meeting was attended by Zonal SPs, SDPOs, SHOs, incharge police posts, incharge border police posts, investigating officers, and other staff.

During the interaction, the SSP directed officers to maintain heightened vigilance, intensify patrolling and conduct surprise nakas.

He also emphasized the need to ensure proper security arrangements at religious places, vital installations and other sensitive locations.

The SSP stressed time-bound investigation and disposal of cases, strict action against drug peddlers and organised criminals, and effective implementation of new criminal laws, including Zero FIR and e-FIR provisions.

He also highlighted the importance of using modern platforms such as NAFIS, IRAD, ICJS, NATGRID and digital tools to improve coordination and policing efficiency.

Officers were advised to maintain professional conduct, proper turnout and courteous behaviour with the public.

The SSP further stressed proper implementation of PM RAHAT, timely completion of verifications, better use of FSL services and progress on CCTNS, reiterating zero tolerance against drugs, corruption, crime burking and indiscipline.
