Sadiya (Assam), 05 April (HS): BJP candidate Bolin Chetia on Sunday took a swipe at the AJP candidate, stating that ferry services are no longer relevant in Sadiya due to significant improvements in road infrastructure.

Addressing media persons, Chetia said that with the construction of roads and permanent bridges in all directions of the Sadiya constituency, residents no longer depend on boats for transportation. “There is no question of boarding a ferry now, as connectivity has vastly improved,” he remarked.

Taking a dig at the AJP candidate, Chetia implied that such issues no longer hold ground in the region, emphasizing that development initiatives have transformed the connectivity landscape of Sadiya..------------
