Guwahati, 05 April (HS): A massive fire broke out in the Basistha area of Guwahati in Sunday, triggering panic among local residents. The incident occurred at a rubber warehouse located in the 7 No. By-lane of Patarkuchi.

The blaze rapidly intensified, completely gutting the warehouse and reducing it to ashes within a short span of time. The exact cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained.

Upon receiving information, fire and emergency services rushed to the spot. After prolonged efforts, firefighters managed to bring the fire under control. No casualties have been reported so far.------------
