Lucknow,

5 April (HS): On Sunday, in the capital Lucknow, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath

inaugurated the entire building and two auditoriums of the Bharatendu Natya

Academy. These buildings were renovated at a cost of Rs. 22 crore. On this occasion, the

Chief Minister honored artists and alumni. He also released the magazine

Rangbhed and inaugurated the Golden Jubilee Theatre Festival.

Artists performed a play in front of the Chief Minister.

BNA's

Golden Jubilee Celebration: The Bharatendu Natya Academy in Gomti Nagar is

celebrating its Golden Jubilee. An eight-day program is being organized to mark

the academy's 50th anniversary. Artists from across the country have

participated. On the first day, Sunday, Chief Minister Yogi inaugurated the

program. He also honored 15 artists on the occasion. He also watched other

theatrical performances, including the play Anand Math.

When

the lockdown was imposed, the government stood with the people: On this

occasion, the CM said that the lockdown was imposed to protect people from the

coronavirus. When workers returned home, the government stood with them. They

were not only transported but also provided free rations. When the government

is insensitive, situations like the one we saw in the play Anand

Math arise.

The

CM further mentioned the play on Bharatendu Harishchandra: The CM further said

that today cinema is striving to present good stories. Society is also

accepting them in the same way. Now the most popular Ramayana program has taken

place. It reflects the culture of the society. The CM also mentioned the play

on Bharatendu Harishchandra that he saw in Varanasi - If plays on Maharani

Lakshmibai are staged in schools and colleges and the story of Maharaja

Suheldev is shown, then children will learn.

Maharaja

Suheldev gave Salar Masood a painful death: He said that where Salar Masood was

killed, a fair was held in his name, but no one mentioned Maharaja Suheldev.

Indian society had forgotten him. After a thousand years, PM Modi gave him respect.

Our government started events in his name. Today, the fair attracts more crowds

than Salar Masood's fair.

The

CM said that Salar Masood was no less than a mafia. The mafia who have now been

buried in the ground share the same ideology. He destroyed our temples.

Maharaja Suheldev freed the people from slavery by killing Salar Masood. Plays

should be written about such heroes and staged in schools and colleges so that

today's generation can learn about them. He

further said that people will not mention Bijli Pasi's name to avoid affecting

their vote bank. They do not mention Laxmibai's name.
