Domestic bullion markets opened sharply lower for gold in early trading today, reflecting sustained weakness in spot prices. Silver rates, however, showed no change during the initial session.

Except in Chennai, gold prices across most Indian bullion markets declined by ₹2,550 to ₹2,780 per 10 grams today. In Chennai, the drop ranged from ₹1,320 to ₹1,440 per 10 grams. This spot gold price correction has pushed 24-carat gold to trade between ₹1,50,920 and ₹1,53,810 per 10 grams in most regions, while 22-carat gold is available from ₹1,38,340 to ₹1,40,990 per 10 grams.

In contrast to gold's decline, silver held steady for the second consecutive day at ₹2,59,900 per kilogram in the Delhi bullion market. Internationally, spot gold fell 0.12% to $4,576.07 per ounce, with silver trading at $73.18 per ounce.

In Delhi, 24-carat gold is at ₹1,51,070 per 10 grams, and 22-carat at ₹1,38,490. Mumbai sees 24-carat at ₹1,50,920 and 22-carat at ₹1,38,340 per 10 grams. Ahmedabad records 24-carat at ₹1,50,970 and 22-carat at ₹1,38,390.

Chennai lists 24-carat gold at ₹1,53,810 and 22-carat at ₹1,40,990 per 10 grams. Kolkata mirrors Mumbai at ₹1,50,920 for 24-carat and ₹1,38,340 for 22-carat. Bhopal has 24-carat at ₹1,50,970 and 22-carat at ₹1,38,390.

Jaipur quotes 24-carat at ₹1,51,070 and 22-carat at ₹1,38,490 per 10 grams. Patna stands at ₹1,50,970 for 24-carat and ₹1,38,390 for 22-carat. Lucknow matches Delhi at ₹1,51,070 for 24-carat and ₹1,38,490 for 22-carat.

The softening trend extends to Karnataka, Telangana, and Odisha, where Bengaluru, Hyderabad, and Bhubaneswar report 24-carat gold at ₹1,50,920 and 22-carat at ₹1,38,340 per 10 grams.
