New Delhi, 21 April (H.S.):

BJP National General Secretary Tarun Chugh vehemently condemned Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge's use of terrorist for Prime Minister Narendra Modi, terming it a direct assault on democratic decorum. Chugh described the remark as exposing Congress's declining political culture and bankrupt mindset.

Addressing journalists Tuesday, Chugh highlighted Modi's unprecedented mandate—third consecutive term with massive public support—as the poor's messiah who transformed millions' lives through genuine intent. Calling such a leader 'terrorist' reveals Congress's desperation after repeated electoral rejections, he stated.

Chugh accused Congress leaders of abandoning democratic norms, favoring personal vilification over issue-based debate amid their powerlessness anxiety. The nation won't tolerate this arrogance; voters will deliver a fitting democratic response, he asserted.
