
Noida, April 19 (HS): Aditya Anand,
the main conspirator in the violent incidents during the workers' protest in
Noida and carrying a reward of Rs 1 lakh, has confessed to his crime during
police interrogation. He has admitted to being involved in the conspiracy. Now
the police are taking him on remand and taking further action. In fact, a joint
team of Police Commissionerate Gautam Buddh Nagar and UP STF arrested Aditya
Anand alias Rasti from Tiruchapalli Railway Station in Tamil Nadu on Saturday.
This accused, who had been absconding for a long time, was constantly changing
his location.
According to the police, Aditya Anand was found to be instrumental in
organizing provocative activities and violence during the workers' protest. The
investigation revealed him to be the mastermind of the entire incident. A case
was subsequently registered against him at Phase 2 Police Station. Since the
incident, he had been constantly changing locations and evading police.
A non-bailable warrant (NBW) was
issued by the court to secure the accused's arrest.
Subsequently, police and Special
Task Force (STF) teams conducted continuous raids in various states to search
for him. Police monitored his movements using electronic surveillance, location
tracking, and other technical resources. He has now been apprehended.
