Bhubaneswar, 19 April (H.S.): Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan has expressed deep grief over the demise of senior journalist and former parliamentarian Balbir Punj.

In a social media post, Pradhan described the passing of Punj, a former National Vice-President of the Bharatiya Janata Party and ex-Rajya Sabha MP, as extremely heartbreaking. He noted that through his writings, ideas, and public life, Punj consistently raised a strong voice on issues of national importance.

Highlighting his contributions, the minister said that Punj’s dedication and service to the nation would always be remembered.

Pradhan also offered prayers for the departed soul and extended his condolences to the bereaved family, wishing them strength and courage during this difficult time.
