Jammu, 17 April (H.S.): In a tragic incident, a student of Government College for Women Gandhi Nagar Jammu died after she fell from the moving bus, which was carrying the students on a picnic to Patnitop.

The deceased was identified as Anjali Choudhary (20), daughter of Naresh Choudhary, resident of TCP Khareyan, Miran Sahib Jammu. The mishap took place this morning around 10:30 AM near Sharda Mata Temple, Jakhani.

Reports said that the College students, on picnic tour from Jammu to Patnitop, were enjoying dancing inside the bus when its door flew open due to over-speeding at a sharp curve near Sharda Mata Temple and the victim girl fell on road.

Locals and the college staff immediately took the injured girl to District Hospital Udhampur where doctors declared her as brought dead.

Udhampur Police have registered a case in this connection.
