Nashik, 17 Apr (HS): A close associate of fraudster

Ashok Kharat and Vice-president of Shivanika Trust, Jitendra Shelke and his

wife died in a road accident near Dhotre village on Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar –

Shirdi Highway on Friday. Their son received serious injuries and has been

hospitalised.

Jitendra Shelke along with his wife Anuradha and son

was going to Shirdi when their car hit a stationery container. Jitendra and his

wife died on the accident site, while the son received serious injuries. The accident occurred around 1 pm on Friday.

The impact was so hard that the front portion of the car turned into a mangled

heap of metal.

Police investigating Kharat case of sexual

exploitation, illegal property deals, and financial frauds, had recorded Shelke’s

statement. The accident led to suspicion as to whether this was an accident or

sabotage.
