Jammu, 17 April (H.S.): Lieutenant General PK Mishra, General Officer Commanding (GOC) of the White Knight Corps, along with GOC CIF (R), visited the general area of Kalakote to review the prevailing security environment and assess the operational preparedness of troops.

During the visit, the GOC was briefed by General Officer Commanding, Romeo Force, Major General Vijay Mahadevan, on the prevailing security scenario and operational dynamics in the region. He also held detailed deliberations with field commanders in the chain, focusing on the current operational posture, readiness levels, and coordination mechanisms among various units.

Lieutenant General, PK Mishra has been undertaking continuous visits to the Pir Panjal region to maintain close oversight of the security situation and boost troop morale. During today’s visit, he also interacted with the jawans, appreciating their dedication and encouraging them to remain steadfast in the discharge of their duties.

The GOC commended all ranks for their professionalism, dedication, and steadfast commitment to duty. He emphasized the importance of maintaining high levels of vigilance and operational synergy to effectively counter emerging challenges.

While highlighting the significance of a robust hinterland security framework, the GOC noted that continuous vigilance and proactive operations remain key for ensuring a secure and stable environment in the area.
