New Delhi, 15 April (H.S.):

Former Union Minister and current Chairperson of the National Commission for Backward Classes, Sadhvi Niranjan Jyoti, has received a threat to blow her up with a bomb.

The threatening message, received on her official email, explicitly mentions targeting her office as well as her residence.The police have already initiated an investigation into the matter.

According to Delhi Police, the threat arrived at around 11:15 a.m. today, while Sadhvi Niranjan Jyoti was present in her office.At that time, the threatening email reached her official mailbox.The investigation in the case is currently underway.

It is noteworthy that Sadhvi Niranjan Jyoti has recently assumed charge as Chairperson of the National Commission for Backward Classes.
