April 14 (HS): Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya paid
tribute to 'Bharat Ratna' Baba Saheb Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar on his birth
anniversary on Tuesday by garlanding his portrait at his camp office, 7-Kalidas
Marg, Lucknow. On this occasion, Deputy Chief Minister Maurya said that the
entire life of Baba Saheb Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar is a powerful message. The work
he did for the upliftment of the deprived, exploited and weak sections of the
society through his struggle, education and determination will always remain a
source of inspiration. He said that Baba Saheb's ideals and his philosophy of
life are still completely relevant today, and by adopting them, equality and
justice can be established in the society.
Maurya
said that Baba Saheb Dr. Ambedkar, a pioneer of social justice and architect of
the Indian Constitution, made education the most effective medium of change and
performed historic work to empower the underprivileged, workers, and farmers.
The principles of equality, justice, and human dignity established by him
remain a strong foundation for nation-building even today.
The
Deputy Chief Minister said that today, under the leadership of Prime Minister
Narendra Modi, the Central and Uttar Pradesh governments are working tirelessly
to realize Baba Saheb's dreams with the motto of Sabka Saath, Sabka
Vikas, Sabka Vishwas, and Sabka Prayas. His ideas are being spread to the
masses through inspiring initiatives like Panchtirtha and various
public welfare schemes, bringing the benefits of development to even the last
person in society. He said that Baba Saheb's life of struggle inspires us to
duty, dedication, and national service. We should not only draw inspiration
from his ideas but also incorporate them into our own lives and contribute to
building an equitable and strong India.
