New Delhi, 12 April (H.S.):

Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw has accorded approval for inaugurating a Vande Bharat Sleeper Train service between Bengaluru and Mumbai.

In a letter apprising Member of Parliament PC Mohan of this sanction, the Railway Minister disclosed that the proposal to operate a Vande Bharat Sleeper Train from KSR Bengaluru station in Karnataka to Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus in Mumbai stands duly approved.

Anticipation mounts for the nascent service's commencement next month, fortifying connectivity between southern and western India whilst affording passengers the luxury of contemporary amenities within ergonomic sleeper coaches.
