
Pune, 07 Mar
(HS): The National Women’s Commission will conduct public hearing in 500
districts of India to resolve problems faced by women, between March 8 and 14,
National Women’s Commission Chief Vijaya Rahatkar informed at a press conference
in Pune.
In Maharashtra
the public hearing (Jansunwai) will be held in three districts. Out of 28 states and eight Union Territories
in India the hearing will be held in 25 States and Union Territories, during
which more than 15,000 complaints from women are expected to be entertained.
Based on the complaints efforts will be made to resolve the problems, Rahatkar
said.
