New Delhi, 06 March (H.S.): In commemoration of International Women's Day, the Ministry of Women and Child Development will organize the Shakti Walk on Kartavya Path. Over 4,000 women from various sectors will participate in the event scheduled for Sunday.

Union Minister of Women and Child Development Annapurna Devi stated in a message posted on X on Friday that women are not only participating in nation-building today but also leading it. The ‘Shakti Walk’ organized on International Women's Day is a powerful symbol of feminine strength, self-confidence, and leadership capability.She described the initiative as an inspiring effort to honor women's growing roles and contributions in society.

Appealing to all women to join the event, she urged collective strengthening of the resolve for respecting feminine power, equal opportunities, and an empowered India.
