Guwahati, 29 March (HS): Dispur Police of Guwahati city have arrested two individuals involved in a snatching case, officials said on Sunday.

According to police sources, the EGPD team of Dispur Police Station carried out an investigation into the incident and successfully apprehended the two main accused. The arrested persons have been identified as Rahul Das (25), a resident of Sualkuchi and Rahim Ali (23), a resident of Jogighopa.

During the operation, police recovered the stolen items from the accused, including a snatched bag, a gold locket and a scooty bearing registration number AS-01GD-5797. All recovered items have been seized.

Based on the FIR registered in connection with the case, further legal proceedings have been initiated, police added.----------
