Guwahati, 29 March (HS): Union Home Minister Amit Shah is set to campaign in Assam’s Dhekiajuli, Tihu and Nalbari on Sunday as part of the Bharatiya Janata Party’s intensified election outreach in the state.

Shah, who arrived in Guwahati on Saturday evening for a two-day visit, has been actively participating in a series of campaign events to bolster the party’s prospects. On Saturday, he led a grand roadshow in the city, drawing a large crowd and energising the election atmosphere.

Continuing his tour, Shah will address a public rally in Tihu on Sunday and is also scheduled to interact with party workers. His visit is aimed at strengthening grassroots mobilisation ahead of the elections.

The Home Minister will campaign in support of BJP candidates and Assam ministers Jayanta Malla Baruah, Chandra Mohan Patowary and Ashok Singhal. Extensive preparations have been made for his programmes, with heightened security arrangements in place across the state.------------
