Guwahati, 29 March (HS): Union Home Minister Amit Shah held an important meeting at the state BJP headquarters in Guwahati during his visit to Assam on Saturday night, aimed at strengthening the party’s campaign strategy for the upcoming Assembly elections.

Shah arrived in the state to boost the compain efforts of BJP-led alliance candidates and immediately began campaigning in the Central Guwahati constituency. As part of his outreach, he also participated in a rally held from Arya Vidyapeeth College to Nepali Mandir, drawing significant public attention.

Following the rally, Shah attended a crucial strategy meeting at the state BJP office. The meeting was attended by Assam Chief Minister Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma, state BJP president Dilip Saikia, BJP national vice-president and election in-charge Baijayant Jay Panda, co-incharge Darshana Jardosh, Assam BJP incharge Harish Dwivedi, and MP Pradan Baruah, who is also the convenor of the election management committee.

The meeting focused on reviewing ongoing campaign activities and finalizing strategies to ensure a strong performance by the BJP alliance in the forthcoming Assam Assembly elections.-------------
