Mirzapur,

28 March (HS): On the ninth day of Chaitra Navratri, Bihar Deputy Chief

Minister Vijay Kumar Sinha along with his wife reached Vindhyachal Dham and

performed darshan and puja in the court of Maa Vindhyavasini as per the

rituals. After arriving in Vindhyachal by train from Bihar on Friday, he

entered the temple's sanctum sanctorum late at night and offered prayers at the

feet of the Mother Goddess. During this, he offered oblations in the havan kund

amidst chanting of Vedic mantras and prayed for the happiness and prosperity of

the country and the state. The entire puja ceremony was conducted by Acharya

Vikas Shukla.

After the

darshan and puja, the Deputy Chief Minister spent the night in Vindhyachal. On

Saturday morning, after remembering the Mother Goddess again, he departed for

his destination. In view of the Deputy Chief Minister's arrival, strict

security arrangements were made in the temple complex and surrounding areas.

Police and administrative officials remained vigilant throughout, ensuring a
