Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta joined the world's largest hackathon, India Innovates 2026 on Saturday, where young innovators from across India captivated the audience with their groundbreaking ideas.

Speaking at the event, Gupta highlighted how the presented concepts extended far beyond technology, offering practical and impactful solutions for urban development, strengthening democracy, and social empowerment.

Praising the youth's efforts, she said the new generation possesses a remarkable ability to transform ideas into innovations and innovations into real-world impact. Gupta shared her vision for Delhi 2.0, advocating for a capital inspired by innovation, empowered by inclusivity, and one that values technology alongside trust.

She emphasized that the enthusiasm, skills, and determination of India's youth represent the nation's greatest asset, poised to propel the country to new heights.

The event was also attended by Delhi BJP provincial general secretary Vishnu Mittal, program coordinator and councillor Shashi Yadav, and several other dignitaries.
