Guwahati, 26 March (HS): Assam Governor Lakshman Prasad Acharya, accompanied by the First Lady of Assam, Kumud Devi, visited the Kamakhya Temple on Thursday. During the visit, they offered prayers to Goddess Kamakhya, seeking her blessings for the welfare and development of all sections of the people of Assam.

The Governor and the First Lady were received at the temple with traditional rituals, and devotees gathered at the site to witness the spiritual occasion. Officials from the Governor’s Secretariat were also present during the visit.---------------
