Availability

of locally trained youth to benefit industries and simplify recruitment process

Lucknow, 22

March (HS): A

meeting was held between the Uttar Pradesh Skill Development Mission (UPSDM)

and industrial units affiliated with Laghu Udyog Bharti regarding the

Industrial Training Partnership (ITP) scheme. The objective of the meeting was

to inform industry representatives about the scheme's methodology, benefits,

and provisions, so that an effective and practical coordination can be

established between skill development and employment generation.

Addressing

the meeting, Mission Director Pulkit Khare, while giving detailed information

about the ITP scheme, said that this initiative is a powerful medium to prepare

skilled and employable human resources as per the actual needs of the

industries. He said that industries can prepare a skilled workforce by training

the youth as per their needs, which can significantly improve the quality and

productivity of production.

He

stated that the mission's objective is not only to provide training, but also

to connect trained youth with stable and respectable employment. Under the ITP,

industries will have access to locally trained human resources, reducing both

the time and cost of recruitment. This initiative will play a vital role in

strengthening the state's micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises.

Laghu

Udyog Bharti President Ravindra Singh and Keshav Mathur expressed gratitude for

the successful organization of the meeting and said that such initiatives will

further strengthen the coordination between the industry and the government,

which will directly benefit the youth and the industry. Joint Director Mayank

Gangwar and Assistant Director Dr. M.K. Singh along with other officers were

also present in the meeting.
