Defence Minister Rajnath Singh touches down in Nainital district Saturday for a marquee public rally at MB Inter College here marking four years of the Pushkar Singh Dhami government's tenure with tight security and high expectations.

The event celebrates the BJP-led administration's achievements development schemes and people-first policies since taking office spotlighting progress across Uttarakhand.

Singh as chief guest will address the massive gathering expected to draw lakhs amid elaborate preparations.

Per the itinerary Singh lands at Pantnagar Airport at 12:10 p.m. Saturday hops a chopper to Haldwani by 12:20 arrives at Army Helipad 12:40 then motors to the venue by 12:55 p.m. for his speech.

He wraps up heads back to the helipad at 2:15 reaches Pantnagar by 2:55 and jets off to Delhi at 3:25 p.m. with a planned stop at Sainik School Ghodakhal scrapped.
