21 March (HS): Alike previous years, on the auspicious occasion of Eid ul-Fitr,

a grand Inter-Faith Eid Milan (harmony) Celebration was organized at the Eidgah

under the patronage of Razia Sultan, Advocate, High Court, and Secretary of the

Bharatiya Janhit Kalyan Samiti. Namazis were overjoyed as rose petals were

showered upon them using a machine.

People

of all faiths joined Razia Sultan in presenting namazis with rose flowers,

mineral water, and sweet vermicelli (shahi sewai), offering Eid Mubarak

greetings. On the sacred occasion of Navratri, tilak-bearing Hindus and

white-clad namazis embraced one another and exchanged Eid felicitations.

Exemplifying the Ganga-Jamuni Tehzeeb and national unity, Razia Sultan honored

the Eidgah's Head Imam Wazahat Hussain, and officers on duty — DCP Manish

Chandrayal, ACP Ravi Gupta, CO Traffic Shailendra Parihar, City Magistrate,

In-charge Inspector Kotwali Sanjay Kumar Rai, and Chowki In-charge G.P. Pandey

— with bouquets of flowers.

on this occasion alongside Razia Sultan were former Minister Narendra Singh
