New Delhi, 19 March (H.S.): Prime Minister Narendra Modi invited international investors on Thursday to Make in India, Innovate in India, Invest in India, and Expand with India in the power sector, positioning the nation at a pivotal juncture in its energy odyssey as the world's fastest-growing major economy.

Power Secretary Pankaj Agrawal read Modi's missive at Yashobhoomi's Bharat Electricity Summit 2026 launch (March 19-22), extolling the conclave as a nexus for stakeholders to forge synergies for growth, sustainability, and Viksit Bharat 2047. India has surpassed 50% non-fossil capacity en route to 500 GW renewables by 2030, buoyed by 'One Sun, One World, One Grid'; robust supply chains, battery manufacturing, green jobs, and reforms like the Atomic Energy Act 2025 herald vast prospects.

PM Modi lauded distribution efficiencies bolstering finances, heralding India as an investment magnet across the value chain. The summit—featuring 100+ sessions, 300 speakers, 80 nations, 500 exhibitors, and 25,000 attendees—promises enduring partnerships to electrify development.
