
New Delhi, 19 March (H.S.): The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Thursday unveiled its second tranche of 39 candidates for the Kerala Legislative Assembly elections, bringing the cumulative tally to 86 nominees across the 140-seat house.
The roster was finalized during the Central Election Committee's conclave presided over by party president Nitin Nabin, attended by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, Home Minister Amit Shah, and senior leaders. This follows the inaugural list of 47 aspirants, underscoring BJP's methodical escalation in the southern bastion.
