Lucknow, 13
March (HS): Defense Minister Rajnath Singh said that today, Uttar Pradesh is moving
forward with a broad vision. Over the past few years, we have all witnessed
significant progress in all areas. Uttar Pradesh has gained new momentum in
infrastructure, investment, industry, and education. I am confident that with
similar efforts, Uttar Pradesh will set new standards in the field of education
in the coming years. Its educational institutions will become a center of
attraction not only for students from the state but from across the country.
Union
Minister Rajnath Singh was addressing the gathering after inaugurating the new
building of City Montessori School in Golf City, Lucknow, on Friday. Rajnath
Singh said that when a city's identity expands beyond its roads and buildings
and is shaped by its educational and cultural institutions, it is then that
city truly shaping the future of society. The Defense Minister added that
today, the focus in the state is not just on opening schools and colleges.
Efforts are being made to create an ecosystem in which children can develop a
positive learning environment, along with their studies. He said that school is
not just a place to impart knowledge; it is also a laboratory for human
development. It doesn't just teach mathematics, science, or languages; it also
teaches life values. It is important to focus on the personality of our
children, not just their education.
Rajnath
Singh said that the true purpose of education is to enable individuals to use
their knowledge not only for their own benefit but also for the progress of
society. Children certainly study in school, but their personalities are shaped
at home. School provides them with knowledge and discipline, while home
provides them with life experience, sensitivity, and values. Success in life is
not simply about securing a good job, a good package, or admission to a
prestigious institution. True success occurs when individuals, through their
knowledge and ideas, can bring about positive change in society. It is
important to prepare children not just for grades but for the challenges of
life.
