Lucknow, 13
March (HS): According to Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, we witnessed BrahMos
wreaking devastation in Pakistan's terrorist bases during Operation Sindoor. If
they did anything similar again, they would receive such a strong reaction that
they would never recover. Beyond that, I do not want to say anything further;
you are all intelligent enough to comprehend. The BrahMos, which played such an
important part during Operation Sindoor, now has an integration and testing
facility right here in Lucknow.
Defense
Minister Rajnath Singh said in Lucknow on Friday that Pakistan was given a
retaliatory blow with the BrahMos missile in Operation Sindoor, which would
never allow it to recover. He added that the Indian Army remains fully alert
and prepared to defend the country's borders at all times.
He
was addressing the inauguration of the second phase of the Green Corridor and
the foundation stone laying ceremony for the third and fourth phases in Lucknow
today. Speaking at the event held at Jhulelal Park on the banks of the Gomti
River, Lucknow MP and Defense Minister Rajnath Singh stated that Lucknow is
rapidly developing and is not lagging behind in the defense sector. Work
related to the BrahMos missile and aerospace is also underway here, and the
city is deeply connected to the country's security system.
Referring to Operation Sindoor against
Pakistan, the Defense Minister said that the BrahMos missile delivered such a
powerful rebuff to Pakistani terrorists that they cannot even contemplate such
an act again, and if they do, they will never recover from this attack. He
added that any conspiracy against India will be met with a befitting response.
Rajnath
Singh said that people know Chief Minister Yogi as Bulldozer Baba.
He has dealt with the mafia. But a bulldozer isn't just for demolition; it also
paves the way for development. He announced that in the coming days, a journey
from Lucknow to Kanpur will take just 35 to 45 minutes.
Referring
to the increasing investment in Uttar Pradesh, he said that I did not think
that Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath would visit Singapore and Japan. I was
worried that this visit might get postponed, but he went on the visit wearing
the same attire and having the same food and drink and as a result, tremendous
investment has come to Uttar Pradesh.
At
the ceremony, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath stated that the project was built
using the same money after removing encroachments from the administrative land,
and the government has not provided any funding to the authority. He reiterated
his ambitious project to develop Lucknow as an AI city. He stated that the
state government has arranged funds for this work. He added that most of the
BrahMos engineers who eliminate the country's enemies are from polytechnics and
government colleges. We can say that Lucknow is now developing as a hub of
emerging technology.
Rajya
Sabha member and former Deputy Chief Minister of the state Professor Dinesh
Sharma, Deputy Chief Minister of the state Brajesh Pathak, Cabinet Minister
Suresh Khanna, Lucknow Mayor Sushma Kharwal, former Minister Mahendra Singh
along with many MLAs and party officials were present in this function.
