Lucknow, 13
March (HS): Regarding the LPG cylinder shortage in Uttar Pradesh, former Governor
and senior Bharatiya Janata Party leader Kalraj Mishra on Friday appealed to
the public for patience, saying there is no gas shortage. He urged them to
avoid the misinformation being spread by the opposition. The Narendra Modi
government at the Centre will ensure uninterrupted LPG supply.
Kalraj
Mishra wrote on the social media platform X that it is extremely unfortunate
that the opposition is creating an atmosphere of confusion and fear among the
public for political gain. I want to clarify that there is no shortage of
diesel, petrol, and cooking gas in the country; sufficient stocks are
available. Amid rising tensions in West Asia, the government led by Prime
Minister Narendra Modi has directed oil refineries to increase production to
ensure uninterrupted supply of LPG to every household, so that daily life is
not affected. I urge all enlightened citizens not to fall prey to any such
sponsored rumors and false propaganda spread by vested interests. Your
government is always vigilant and fully committed to public and national
interests.
It is
noteworthy that the Yogi Adityanath government in Uttar Pradesh has implemented
strict measures and implemented a sound strategy to ensure that the supply of
LPG cylinders appears to be back on track in the state. While the government is
issuing instructions to take action against hoarders, it is also appealing to
the public for patience.
