March (HS): Gorakhpeethadhiswar and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath arrived in
Ayodhya on a day-long visit on Thursday to visit Ram Lalla. The Chief Minister
also inquired about the progress of construction work at the Shri Ram Temple
complex.
On
reaching Ayodhya today, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath first visited and
worshipped at Sankatmochan Hanumangarhi temple and prayed for peace and
prosperity of the state. The Chief Minister also met the saints at Hanumangarhi
and enquired about their well-being. The Chief Minister first met Mahant
Premdas Maharaj here. After this, the Chief Minister also met other saints and
enquired about their well-being. Leaving from here, the Chief Minister reached
Shri Ram Temple. Here he visited Shri Ram Lalla, performed aarti and
circumambulated the temple.
After
this, Chief Minister Yogi also enquired about the progress of the construction
work of the Shri Ram Temple complex. The officials of the Shri Ram Temple Trust
informed the Chief Minister about the current status of the construction work
and the upcoming plans.
Earlier,
upon Chief Minister Yogi's arrival in Ayodhya, he was welcomed by public
representatives and officials at the Ramkatha Park helipad. District In-Charge
Minister/Agriculture Minister Surya Pratap Shahi, Mayor Girish Pati Tripathi,
MLAs Ved Prakash Gupta, Ramchandra Yadav, Chandrabhanu Paswan, Amit Singh
Chauhan, and Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust General Secretary
Champat Rai were present.
